Leandro Chua

Leandro Chua has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Leandro started their career as an Operations Management Intern at Fu Yu Corporation Limited in 2018. Leandro then moved on to work at the Singapore Manufacturing Federation, where they held roles as an Executive in Business Development & Marketing and later as an Executive in Internationalization & Strategic Development. In these roles, Leandro engaged with C-Suite and managerial level personnel to promote and advise companies on the Global Ready Talent (GRT) program, managed accounts for over 400 local enterprises, and facilitated strategic collaborations for local enterprises with overseas companies.

Leandro also worked at The Federation of Merchants' Associations, Singapore as a Project Manager (Attachment). In this role, they were responsible for leading various projects, including the Singapore Heartland Enterprise Star Awards 2021 and the Heartland Innovation Challenge 2022. Leandro played a key role in refining the judging process for enterprises, recruiting and publicizing companies on mainstream media, and generating revenue. Additionally, Leandro was involved in other project and event coordination, such as the Heartlands Festival, where they worked with external partners and agencies on venue coordination, media interviews, and planning.

Currently, Leandro is working at Enterprise Singapore as an Associate in the Heartland Enterprise Division and has recently transitioned to the role of Assistant Development Partner in Retail & Design. These roles involve supporting the development of heartland enterprises and facilitating capability upgrading and productivity improvement initiatives.

Leandro Chua completed their education at two institutions. From 2010 to 2013, they attended Temasek Polytechnic and obtained a diploma in Clean Energy. Following this, from 2015 to 2019, Leandro Chua pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Business & Management at the University of London.
