Lane Anderson

Lane Anderson has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and development. They started their career as a Freelance Web Developer in 2011, working on various web development projects using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript. In 2011, they also started working as a Game Developer on freelance projects.

In 2014, Lane joined Ritter Insurance Marketing as a Data Entry Specialist and later became a Database Developer. In this role, they automated manual data entry processes, consolidated client and software insight data, and migrated databases from MySQL to SQL Server.

From 2016 to 2020, Lane worked at Bodybuilding.com, initially as a Database Administrator. They managed multiple servers hosting databases, automated environment refreshes with SSIS, and optimized slow running SQL queries. Later, Lane transitioned to the role of a Data Analyst, where they developed and managed reports in Power BI and SSRS, wrote SQL queries to consolidate data for reports, and provided data analysis for insights. Finally, Lane held the position of a Data Engineer at Bodybuilding.com, where they helped migrate the data warehouse from SQL Server to Snowflake, developed and managed SSIS packages, and built ETL processes using Matillion.

Currently, Lane is serving as a Senior Data Engineer at ETR (Enterprise Technology Research) from October 2021.

Lane Anderson attended BoiseCodeWorks in 2016, where they studied Front-End Web Development.
