Abraham de Villiers

Abraham de Villiers has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Abraham has worked as a Software Engineering Team Lead and a Senior Software Engineer at Entersekt since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Engineer at GoDaddy from 2020 to 2021, focusing on data system migration. In 2020, they also held a Data Engineer role, and in 2019, they served as a Data Architect at HealthQ Technologies, where they led a team in building nonclinical health technologies. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Luno, where they developed data solutions for cryptocurrency product offerings. Abraham also has experience as a Data Architect at wiGroup, designing and deploying data solutions, and as a Data Analyst, QA Manager, and Business Analyst at Old Mutual Investment Group, working on various projects. Abraham started their career as a Lecturer Assistant at Stellenbosch University, teaching programming and SQL Database modules. In 2011, they founded their own company, The Digital Conclusion, providing IT services in the hospitality and fintech industry.

Abraham de Villiers studied at Stellenbosch University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Humanities with a focus on Information Systems, Psychology, and Anthropology. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2013, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours degree in Socio Informatics (Information Systems), with a specialization in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance.
