James L. Barry

James L. Barry is an accomplished illustrator and concept artist with extensive experience in various artistic mediums. Since February 2005, James has served as an illustrator for J.L. Barry Comics and Illustration, contributing to books, comics, manga, and storyboards for notable clients such as Harper Collins and Entertainment Weekly. James is also a concept artist for Silver Spoon and a freelance illustrator for Entertainment Weekly, demonstrating versatility in virtual and augmented reality animation. With a strong background in teaching, James held a position as an assistant professor at Pratt Institute, focusing on storyboarding and digital illustration, and has served as an art teacher at Hunter College Campus Schools. James's freelance contributions to high-profile projects include work for the "Warriors" comics and manga series, along with experience in producing storyboard illustrations for international commercials. James holds an MFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts and a BFA in Film/Animation from New York University.
