Shohei holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an M.Eng. and B.Eng. from The University of Tokyo.
He has expertise in electrochemistry, fluid dynamics, and machine learning. For his Ph.D. research, Shohei developed a new multi-physics electrochemical simulation method using a supercomputer to better understand the relation between 3D material structure and performance.
