Hector Vega

Hector Vega has a diverse work experience across different organizations. Hector started their career as a Medical Assistant at Lawndale Medical Plaza in 2009 and worked there until 2015. From 2013 to 2015, they also served as a Volunteer Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago. In 2015, they joined the University of Alberta as a Graduate Student Researcher and worked there until 2018. During this time, they gained extensive research experience. In 2018, they joined Entos Pharmaceuticals as a Research Assistant and later transitioned to the role of Protein Biochemist from 2019 to 2021. Currently, at Entos Pharmaceuticals, they hold the position of Lead Scientist II - Innovation in Biochemistry since November 2021. Hector Vega has demonstrated their expertise and growth throughout their career in the medical and research fields.

Hector Vega has a diverse education history. Hector began their education at Universidad de Occidente, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree between 2001 and 2005. Hector then pursued an Associate of Science degree in Nursing at Morton College from 2007 to 2010, but did not complete the program.

Continuing their educational journey, Hector enrolled in the Illinois Institute of Technology and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from 2010 to 2013. Hector further pursued a Master's Degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at the same institution from 2013 to 2015.

Hector's educational path took him to the University of Alberta, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry from 2015 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Hector also has certifications in Introduction to Good Manufacturing Practices, obtained from PSG Pharmaceutical Sciences Group, and Pharmacy Technician, although the institution where they obtained this certification was not mentioned.
