Felipe Costa Farias

Felipe Costa Farias, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in machine learning and artificial intelligence with experience spanning various roles and industries. Currently serving as Research Data Scientist II and previously as Research Data Scientist at Iambic Therapeutics since July 2021, Felipe is also a Machine Learning Specialist with Toptal. Prior to these positions, Felipe was a professor at Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Pernambuco from October 2014 to July 2021, and held software engineering roles at Stefanini and Stefanini Document Solutions. An intern at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in 2011, Felipe possesses an extensive academic background, including a doctorate in Artificial Intelligence from Centro de Informática UFPE, a master's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidade de Pernambuco, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution.
