Ebrima Gomez has a strong background in finance and data analysis. Ebrima is currently the Founder of Excel with Ebrima, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, Ebrima worked as a Finance Manager in FP&A at ENTRE Institute from June 2022. Before that, they held the role of Senior Financial Analyst in FP&A at Highgate from February 2021 to June 2022. Ebrima also worked as a Senior Financial Analyst in FP&A at Aimbridge Hospitality from August 2020 to February 2021 and as a Financial Analyst in FP&A at Sphere from August 2019 to August 2020. Ebrima started their career as a Data Analyst at the University of Illinois Springfield from August 2017 to May 2019. Ebrima also worked as a Financial Analyst at Access Bank Plc from January 2013 to December 2015.

Ebrima Gomez obtained their Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Economics from the University of the Gambia in 2012. Ebrima then pursued a Master's degree in Economics from Anadolu University, graduating in 2018. In 2017, they enrolled at the University of Illinois System and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2019. During their time at the University of Illinois, they also earned Graduate Certificates in Business Analytics in 2019 and Entrepreneurship in 2018 from the University of Illinois Springfield.

In 2020, Ebrima Gomez obtained the Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA®) certification from the Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI).
