Kimberly W. has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Kimberly currently holds the position of Vice President of Operations and Governance at the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC). Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Director of Strategy and Governance and the Director of Governance and Strategic Initiatives at NVTC.

Before joining NVTC, Kimberly was the Principal at For The Wynn Consulting, LLC from 2018 to 2021. Kimberly also worked as a Partnership Strategy Consultant at SourceAmerica from November 2018 to February 2019.

Kimberly has previous experience at AARP, where they held various roles. Kimberly served as a Senior Project Management Consultant for the Driver Safety Program from 2017 to 2018. Earlier, they worked as a Corporate and Strategic Relations Consultant in the Enterprise Strategy & Innovation department from 2014 to 2016.

Prior to their time at AARP, Kimberly was the Director of National Accounts at Senior Helpers in 2012-2013. Kimberly also had a significant tenure at AARP Services, Inc., where they served as the Senior Manager of Business Development from 2008 to 2012 and had earlier roles in Corporate Integration Strategy and Business Development and Strategic Alliances.

Kimberly also gained experience as a Graduate Nonprofit Management Intern at AARP in 2005 and as a Strategy Consultant at Olave Olive Oil in the same year. Kimberly began their career as a Federation Relations Fellow at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Kimberly W. has a diverse education history. From 1994 to 1997, they attended Pine Crest School where they obtained their High School Diploma. In 1997, they enrolled in Emory University, completing their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing, Management, and Communications from Goizueta Business School. During the same period, they also earned another Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business from Emory University. In the year 2000, Kimberly briefly studied International Business at HEC Paris. Finally, from 2004 to 2006, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in International Business from The George Washington University School of Business.
