Sophie Edwards

Sophie Edwards has a range of work experience in the field of brand design and marketing. Sophie started their career as a Brand Design Intern at Onfido in November 2019 and worked there until April 2020. At Onfido, Sophie was responsible for helping to build a digital identity standard by assessing the authenticity of user identification documents and facial biometrics.

After their internship, Sophie progressed to the role of Junior Brand Designer at Onfido from April 2020 to September 2021. In this position, they further developed their design skills and contributed to the company's branding efforts.

From September 2021 to May 2022, Sophie worked as a Brand Designer at Onfido, taking on more responsibilities and demonstrating their ability to create impactful designs. Sophie then transitioned to the role of Mid-weight Brand Designer from May 2022 to April 2023, showcasing their progression and expertise in brand design.

Currently, Sophie holds the position of Senior Brand Designer at Onfido, starting in April 2023. With their experience and skills, they continue to contribute to the company's branding initiatives and plays a crucial role in maintaining the company's identity.

In addition to their tenure at Onfido, Sophie completed a 6-month internship at Boatbookings Yacht Charter in the Sales and Marketing team from February 2017 to August 2017. During this time, they focused on increasing website traffic through SEO techniques, designed marketing newsletters, and created social media content.

Sophie Edwards has a Master of Arts degree in Advertising and Design from the University of Leeds. Sophie also completed an Online Short Course in Digital Illustration at Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London. Sophie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Management and French from the University of Bath. Additionally, they participated in a Bachelor's Erasmus Exchange Program at EM Strasbourg Business School, where they studied International Management.
