Erwin Houben

Erwin Houben is an accomplished R&D manager currently leading a team of senior experts and principal scientists in material and data science at Envalior since November 2023. Prior to this role, Houben spent 25 years at DSM, where positions included R&T Manager Digitization DSM Engineering Materials and Global Technology Platform Director for Digital Transformation, focusing on driving business growth through advanced data science and digital innovations. Houben also served as Program Manager for Digital Transformation in the Materials cluster, overseeing a significant team of experts, and began as a leading scientist in materials characterization. Houben's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Chemistry from Utrecht University, an MBA from Maastricht University, and a Bachelor of Science in Analytical Chemistry from Zuyd University of Applied Sciences.
