Thorsten Bredemann

Thorsten Bredemann has extensive experience in marketing and sales within the chemicals and plastics industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Global Marketing & Sales Intermediates at Envalior since April 2023, Thorsten previously held the position of Global Head of Marketing & Sales Intermediates at LANXESS from May 2004 to June 2023, overseeing a diverse portfolio including polyamides and caprolactam. Prior to LANXESS, Thorsten was Head of Marketing & Sales for Caprolactam and Glass Fiber at Bayer from October 1996 to April 2004, where responsibilities included global coordination for plastics in mobile communication applications. Early in the career, Thorsten served as an Account Manager specializing in technical customer support and application development. Thorsten began the professional journey at BASF as a Diplomand focusing on polystyrene degassing. Thorsten holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in materials science from Hochschule Osnabrück, earned between 1992 and 1996.
