Laurel Wright

Laurel Wright is a Senior Data Scientist at Enveda, with prior experience as a Senior Data Scientist at Zymergen from September 2016 to December 2021, where Laurel utilized statistical inference and predictive modeling in synthetic biology for developing new molecules and materials, and led cross-functional teams on microbe improvement projects. Laurel's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where research focused on genetic, molecular, and cellular studies of Bacillus subtilis, and a BA in Biology from Brown University. Additional research experience includes a postbaccalaureate fellowship at the National Institutes of Health and undergraduate research at Brown University.
