Jon Burstin

Jon Burstin began their work experience in 2004 at Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc., where they worked as an Account Handler until 2008. Jon then joined Goodman Jones in 2008 as a Chartered Accountant until 2011. Following that, they worked at Paragon International Insurance Brokers Ltd, starting as a Financial Controller in 2011 and eventually progressing to the role of Finance Director in 2019. Jon held the position of Head of Finance & Administration and Company Secretary from 2013 to 2019. Currently, Jon is serving as the Senior Vice President of Finance at Envelop Risk, starting from April 2022.

Jon Burstin completed the Venture Finance Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained the ACA (Association of Chartered Accountants) qualification from ICAEW from 2008 to 2011. Jon completed their Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2001 to 2004. In addition to their academic background, Jon Burstin also holds the certification of Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) obtained from Scrum Alliance in November 2021.
