James Pershken

Senior Mechanical Engineer at enVerid Systems

James Pershken has a diverse work experience in mechanical engineering. James started their career as an Engineering Intern at A E Hodsdon Engineers in 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at New Valence Robotics Corporation before becoming a Quality Technician and later a Mechanical Quality Engineer. From 2017, they worked at Cincinnati Incorporated as a Mechanical Engineer and later as a Mechanical Design Engineer. In 2020, they joined enVerid Systems, Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer and is currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. James also has experience working as a Field Assistant in a research trip to Ladakh/Kashmir area of Himalayas and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2012.

James Pershken completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the years 2011-2015. James then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Thermal/Fluid from the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering from 2021 to 2024.

In addition to their formal education, James also obtained various certifications. In 2016, they became a Certified Quality Technician from ASQ - World Headquarters. In 2018, they achieved the Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) certification from Dassault Systèmes. James further enhanced their skills in SolidWorks by obtaining the CSWP (Certified SolidWorks Professional) certification in 2018 and CSWP Advanced certifications in Drawing Tools and Sheet Metal in 2019, all from Dassault Systèmes.
