Mahtab Movahedian Attar

Mahtab Movahedian Attar is a Software Engineer currently employed at Enverus since April 2024. Prior to this role, Mahtab served as a Research Assistant at the University of Calgary from September 2020 to December 2023, focusing on Decentralized Federated Learning in Vehicular Networks and utilizing a Reinforcement Learning-based approach to enhance accuracy while halving model aggregations. Mahtab also gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Wedge Networks Inc., where Java and Node.js were used to develop and maintain network security infrastructure. Earlier work includes a position as a Full Stack Web Developer at Behtarino, where Mahtab implemented RESTful APIs and created React components, and a Summer Internship at Farineh Fanavar, contributing to IoT programming and testing. Mahtab holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
