Amanda Miner, MSGIS, GISP, serves as the GIS Services Manager at Envicom Corporation, a role held since December 2015 that includes overseeing GIS Services projects and applying expertise in water resource management, environmental impact analysis, and geospatial skills development in emerging nations. Prior experiences include working as a GIS/Fire Ecologist and Resource Advisor for the National Park Service, where Amanda conducted complex environmental modeling related to wildfire events, and as an Environmental Planner focused on biological assessments for coastal development. Amanda holds two master's degrees, one in Geographic Information Systems from The Johns Hopkins University and another in Natural Resources from Virginia Tech, as well as a bachelor's degree in Museum & Exhibition Design from the University of Lincoln.
