Lateral Flow Development Scientist LFIA at EnviroLogix

Mary (Fent) Konstantin is an experienced scientist specializing in lateral flow assay development and diagnostics. Currently serving as a Lateral Flow Development Scientist at EnviroLogix since 2009, Mary focuses on creating rapid multi-analyte lateral flow strips for detecting genetically modified proteins in plant materials. Prior experience includes a decade at IDEXX Laboratories, where Mary advanced through various roles, ultimately as Research Associate III, leading systems engineering and optics design for a veterinary chemistry analyzer. Earlier in Mary's career, a role at BINAX, INC involved the development of lateral flow diagnostics for Streptococcus pneumonia. Mary holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with a minor in Biochemistry from the University of Maine and has further educational experience at the University of Guelph and the University of West Florida.
