Layne Newhouse

Layne Newhouse's work experience includes working at Environics Analytics from 2017 to the present. Layne started as a Research Associate in April 2017 and was promoted to Senior Research Associate in June 2019. In June 2021, they further advanced to the position of Senior Director. In February 2022, Layne became the VP of Innovation at Environics Analytics. Prior to that, they also worked as an Electrical Engineering Consultant at DJA Engineering Services Inc. from July 2014 to June 2016.

Layne Newhouse holds an Executive MBA from the DeGroote School of Business - McMaster University, a Master of Engineering (MEng) with a Certificate in Financial Engineering and an emphasis in Analytics from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Queen's University. Additionally, Layne has obtained various certifications in fields such as container-based applications, Azure, Docker, cloud computing, Apache Spark, machine learning, SQL optimization, deep learning, and data analysis.
