Louise Cortés has a range of work experience in various roles and organizations.
Starting in 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant at Brock University and as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto.
In 2016, they interned at the Ontario Public Service as a Policy and Programs Intern for the Ministry of Municipal Affairs.
During the same year, they also worked as a Planning Policy Intern at the City of Toronto, where they reviewed rental housing policies and collected data for the Strategic Initiatives, Policy, and Analysis team.
Since 2017, Louise has been working at Environics Analytics, initially as an Insight Analyst and then as a Senior Insights Analyst.
Louise later transitioned to the role of Analytics Project Manager and then Senior Analytics Project Manager.
As of October 2021, they hold the position of Senior Director, Account Management at Environics Analytics.
Louise Cortés studied at the University of Toronto from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree with a specialization in International Relations and a minor in History. In 2012, they participated in an academic exchange program at Sciences Po, studying International Relations. Louise later pursued further education at the University of Toronto from 2015 to 2017, focusing on City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning.
