Xuejin Ruan

Xuejin Ruan has extensive work experience in the field of software development and programming. From 2006 to 2013, they served as an IT GIS Programmer at Pierce County Information Technology. In 2013, they joined Environics Analytics, where they held various roles including Senior Software Programmer and Technical Lead. Currently, Xuejin Ruan holds the position of Vice President of Software Development at Environics Analytics, starting in October 2021.

Xuejin Ruan obtained a Ph.D. in Geographic Information Science from the University of Minnesota, where they also earned an M.S. in Computer Science. Prior to that, they received a B.S. and M.S. in Economic Geography & Urban Planning from Peking University. In terms of additional certifications, Xuejin Ruan has obtained various qualifications from LinkedIn, including training in speaking confidently and effectively, learning Kubernetes, web security, Git essential training, and agile team building, among others.
