Andrew Thielen

Andrew Thielen has extensive experience in information security and application development, currently serving as the Director of Information Security at the Environmental Defense Fund since April 2000. In this role, Andrew oversees the organization’s enterprise security solutions, implements security policies, and manages vulnerability audits. Prior to this, Andrew worked as a Senior Application Architect, focusing on database-backed application development and server architecture. From 1995 to 2000, Andrew held positions at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, initially as an Applications and Development Supervisor, overseeing technical support and system architecture, and earlier as a Programmer/Analyst, providing database programming support. Andrew's educational background includes studies at Massachusetts College of Art and Design and Greenfield Community College.
