Catherine Weddig

Catherine Weddig is a seasoned marketing and communications professional currently serving as a Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist at the Environmental Defense Fund since January 2022. In this role, Catherine is responsible for strategic communications for various initiatives, including EDF+Business and the Net Zero Action Accelerator. Prior experience includes a position as Digital Communications Coordinator at the Social Science Research Council, where responsibilities included supporting the Media & Democracy and MediaWell Programs, as well as roles as Program Associate and Program Assistant. Additional experience includes working as the Kinney Coordinator for Environmental Advocacy and a Student Associate at Rhodes College, and internships focusing on food security and policy advocacy. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in International Studies from Rhodes College and participated in the European Studies Abroad Program at the University of Oxford in 2016.
