Ismael Hernandez Rivera

Ismael Hernandez Rivera currently serves as the Senior Manager of Sustainable Finance at the Environmental Defense Fund since October 2022. Prior to this role, Ismael held various positions at The Coca-Cola Company from August 2015 to October 2022, including Strategic Investment Manager Europe, Commercial Finance Manager Western Europe, and Financial Controller Northern Europe. Experience at Deloitte - S2G from October 2011 to August 2015 included roles as Financial Controller, Finance Transformation, and Financial Analyst Europe. An internship at the Spanish Embassy in July 2010 provided exposure to economic, political, and technology sectors. Ismael's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration from IMF Smart Education (2020-2021), as well as international programs at HEC Montréal and Uppsala University (2011 and 2009-2010, respectively), culminating in a Licenciate in Management and Business Administration from Universidad de Salamanca (2007-2011).
