Alex Wang

Alex Wang is an experienced professional in sustainable finance and assurance, currently serving as a Board of Trustees member at All Heart NZ and a Senior Manager of Sustainable Finance at the Bank of New Zealand. Previous roles include Chair of the Auckland Local Committee at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, where Alex led a diverse committee and identified talent within local networks, and Senior Manager of Sustainability Reporting & Assurance at PwC New Zealand, focusing on climate reporting for clients. Alex’s career also includes significant positions at the Bank of New Zealand, the Financial Markets Authority, and Audit New Zealand, showcasing a strong background in risk compliance and audit management. Alex holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Accounting and Finance from the University of Canterbury and participated in an exchange program in Finance at Purdue University.
