Meredith Ryder-Rude is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in global engagement and environmental policy. Currently serving as Associate Vice President at the Environmental Defense Fund since April 2025, Meredith previously held senior positions at the U.S. Department of State, including Senior Advisor and Managing Director for Adaptation, and Regional Environment Officer, where responsibilities included leading adaptation negotiations. Additional roles include Director of Community Outreach at Rooftop Roots DC and Clean Energy and Climate Change Fellow at USAID Kenya.
