Dr Orla Nic Suibhne

Dr. Orla Nic Suibhne is an experienced professional in sustainable energy and environmental education, currently serving as the County Mentor for the SEAI Sustainable Energy Community Programme at the IT Sligo Contract Research Unit since March 2020. Dr. Nic Suibhne has held various influential roles, including Climate Ambassador at An Taisce, LECo Project Officer at the Western Development Commission, and several expert evaluator positions with the European Commission. Dr. Nic Suibhne's academic background includes a PhD in Energy Management Information Systems from University College Galway, complemented by a Graduate Certificate in Management for Sustainable Development from Dublin City University.
