Kathleen Ward Brown is a Senior Scientist at Environmental Health & Engineering since May 2013, specializing in exposure assessment, indoor air quality, epidemiology, and public health. Kathleen has extensive experience serving on the Board of Health for the Town of Needham from April 2018 to January 2024, and previously worked as an Independent Consultant from December 2010 to April 2013, where study critiques for air pollution research were prepared. A research associate and fellow at the Harvard School of Public Health from September 1999 to June 2010, Kathleen focused on data processing and manuscript preparation, contributing to significant research on air quality. Additionally, experience as an Environmental Planner for the City of Cambridge from January 1994 to September 1997 involved facilitating environmental activities for policy development. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate of Science and a Master of Science in Environmental Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Rutgers University.
