Lissett Medrano

Lissett Medrano is a Project Associate with the Latin America & Caribbean Environment Support Services Contract (LAC ESSC). She provides technical and administrative assistance to support client and project management. Lissett’s background is in international conservation and development, with a focus on the social dimensions of natural resource management.

Prior to joining Environmental Incentives, Lissett served as the International Policy Coordinator at Conservation International, where she supported strategic planning for UN Climate and Biodiversity policy negotiations by providing logistical support to international events and developing workplans, communication material, and policy resources. Additionally, she has led conservation projects in Mexico and Guatemala where she coordinated activities, conducted community-based research, and supported local capacity-building efforts to improve conservation practices.

Lissett believes it is important to examine environmental challenges with an intersectional lens and strives to support local solutions and evidence-based practices that benefit people and nature.
