Paloma Vasquez

Communications Team Lead, Latin America & Caribbean at Environmental Incentives

Paloma is the Communications Team Lead for USAID’s Amazon Regional Environment Program (AREP), under the Latin America and Caribbean Environment Support Services Contract implemented by EI. As Team Lead, Paloma supports AREP’s main goal of contributing toward the Amazon’s well-being by drawing from her background in sustainability, communications, and corporate innovation to deliver a strategic approach that supports and enhances the program’s impact and reach across the Amazon basin.

With over 12 years of experience, Paloma brings a diverse set of skills that range from community relations to design research. Prior to joining EI, Paloma was helping companies create impact-driven solutions and advance sustainability as a design researcher at a start up in Peru. Before that, Paloma was the Communications and Learning Lead for a USAID funded project aimed at strengthening Peru’s forest sector, creating tools and platforms to promote sustainable forest management.

Paloma is most passionate about working with a diverse group of people and collectively building solutions for the challenges they face as world citizens, especially from an environment and development perspective, and is excited about the learning and re-learning this ongoing work implies.
