Alec Cowles

Alec Cowles is a biologist and engineer currently working at Environmental Science Associates. Previously, Alec held positions as a coastal hydrologist at Pontchartrain Conservancy and as a field biologist at Barataria-Terrebonne National Estuary Program. Alec has a Master of Science in Coastal and Ecological Engineering from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from McGill University. With experience in hydrological modeling and research, Alec aims to enhance community well-being in the face of climate change and extreme weather events in inland-coastal transition zones.
