Kelly Dunlap

Kelly Dunlap has extensive experience in environmental management and transportation compliance. They began their career at Caltrans in 1997, where they served as the Chief of the Environmental Management Office for over 13 years. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing environmental compliance for transportation projects. In 2011, Dunlap joined AECOM as the Director of Transportation Environmental Review for the West region. They held this position for three years before transitioning to Environmental Science Associates in 2014. At ESA, Dunlap served as the Director of Transportation, providing strategic advice and senior leadership for the transportation program and projects. They focused on ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and coordinating projects with Caltrans and/or FHWA involvement. Dunlap currently works for Caltrans as the District 7 and 12 HQ Environmental Coordinator, a position they have held since 2016.

Kelly Dunlap received their JD degree in Law from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, from 1992 to 1995. Prior to that, they obtained a BA degree in Geography from UCLA, where they studied from 1987 to 1992.
