Alison Bennett is a Senior Data Analyst at Environmental Standards Scotland since February 2023, recognized as a badged Government statistician and leading the Fit for the Future Modern Statistical Service cohort 3. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Information Analyst at Public Health Scotland from January 2022 to February 2023, focusing on A&E and Same Day Emergency Care data analysis for NHS Lothian, primarily using R and SAP BusinessObjects. Previously, Alison held various roles at the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman, including Learning, Improvement and Performance Reporting Officer, where responsibilities included leading performance reporting, building SQL reports, and monitoring trends in casework from April 2014 to January 2022. Alison holds an MSc in Policy Studies from The University of Edinburgh and a BA (Hons) in History and Politics from the University of Strathclyde.
