Jeff Higgins

Jeff Higgins has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jeff started their career in 1997 as a Purchasing/Warehouse Manager at American Family Day, where they oversaw all warehouse operations and purchasing responsibilities. From 2000 to 2004, they worked as a Purchasing/Logistics Manager at Crane Materials International, handling MRO purchasing and sourcing new suppliers.

In 2004, Jeff transitioned to become a Freight Broker/Self Employed at UTi Transport Solutions, where they specialized in US Domestic freight and was responsible for developing a customer base and carrier base, as well as managing rate negotiation, load postings, and dispatch. Jeff held this role until 2014.

From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Shipping Manager at Coregistics, and from 2015 to 2017, they served as an Operations Manager at Exact Direct. At both companies, they played a key role in managing shipping and logistics operations, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods.

In 2013, Jeff took on the role of Scoutmaster at Boy Scout Troop 002, where they served hundreds of Scouts and guided the troop to produce 44 Eagle Scouts. Though they stepped down as Scoutmaster in 2021, they remain involved in Scouting as a committee member for the troop and contributes to District events.

Most recently, Jeff worked as a Distribution Manager at Enviroscent, Inc. from October 2017 onwards.

Jeff Higgins attended Pope High School from 1987 to 1991. Jeff then pursued their higher education at The University of Georgia from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and History. Outside of their formal education, Jeff also obtained certifications in Wilderness/Remote Location First Aid from the American Heart Association in April 2021 and Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED in March 2021.
