Jim Sargiovanni II earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation Biology from Kent State University and has been with ES since 2012. Prior to joining the EnviroScience team, Jim worked for The Nature Conservancy (TNC) to control invasive plants throughout their preserve system. He is a certified applicator in Ohio, and is licensed in three categories: Aquatics, Forestry, and Industrial Vegetation. Jim also has his Certified Erosion, Sediment and Storm Water Inspector (CESSWI) and 8 hour Storm Water Management certification. He assists the Environmental Inspection group who follow the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and implement recommendations found in the ODNR Rainwater and Land Development Manual guiding compliance for construction sites throughout the state. His experience includes implementation of best management practices for sediment and erosion control devices on pipeline construction sites, small and heavy machine operation and maintenance, plant management and identification, managing projects, and report writing at ES.
