Erik Hjort has extensive work experience in various roles within the digital and e-commerce field. Erik is currently the Chief Digital Officer at Eways.se. Prior to this, Erik served as the Head of e-commerce at Martin & Servera, where they led a team of over 20 people and played a crucial role in evolving the company group's e-commerce area. Erik was responsible for setting strategic initiatives, managing budgets, and supporting product owners in building their strategic roadmaps. Before that, Erik worked as an Ecommerce Manager at KVD and founded SponsorPlaza AB. Erik also gained experience as a Sales Manager at Infront Sports & Media AG and as the Digital Media & New Business Development Manager at Svenska Hockeyligan AB. Additionally, Erik worked as an Online Media Planner and Web strategist at Getupdated Internet Marketing and started their career as a Recruitment Consultant at Propell AB, where they recruited personnel for external clients and developed marketing strategies.
Erik Hjort completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing at Griffith University from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they pursued Project Management in Media Technology at Academedia from 2001 to 2003. In 1999, they obtained their Gymnasieekonom in the Ekonomiprogrammet from Söderslättsgymnasiet.
