Devin Golla

Devin Golla is a Graduate Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania, working under the guidance of Xue (Sherry) Gao at the Center for Precision Engineering for Health since October 2023. Previously, Devin held roles as a Laboratory Research Intern at Envisagenics, focusing on the sub-cellular localization of protein isoforms in cancer cells, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at Columbia University, where modifications to protein scaffolds were designed for biomolecular applications. Additional experience includes an internship at Bristol Myers Squibb in biologics development, a laboratory assistant position at Columbia University Irving Medical Center utilizing bioinformatics for prostate cancer research, and a summer fellowship at NIST studying polyethylene diblocks. Devin also contributed to educational efforts as a mathematics tutor, enhancing student learning in NYC public schools. Devin earned a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University.
