Maria Luisa Pineda

Co-Founder & CEO at Envisagenics

Maria Luisa Pineda is the Co-Founder and CEO of Envisagenics. Maria has a long history of working in the life sciences industry, starting as an undergraduate research assistant at Barry University. Maria then went on to work as a doctoral student at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory before becoming a mentee at OSI Pharmaceuticals. In 2012, they became a consultant for Canrock Ventures, where they helped develop ProSeeder Technologies. The following year, they began working as an investment intern for Golden Seeds. In their current role as Co-Founder and CEO of Envisagenics, they are responsible for leading the company’s vision and strategy.

Maria Luisa Pineda attended American High School and then went on to Barry University where they earned their BS in Molecular Biology. Maria then attended Stanford University for their Ph.D in Biological Sciences before moving on to the Stanford University Graduate School of Business for their Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Fellowship Program in Scaling Excellence.
