Sanjana Shah

Sanjana Shah is a Bioinformatics Analyst at Envisagenics since September 2021, with a robust background in bioinformatics, evidenced by previous roles including Bioinformatics Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and The Innovation Center for Biomedical Informatics at Georgetown University. At NIH, Sanjana focused on vaccine research, developing analysis pipelines for RNA sequencing and microbiome data, as well as investigating single-cell RNA sequencing integration for machine learning applications. Prior experience includes research at UCSF Medical Center and infectious disease studies at UC Berkeley. Sanjana holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbial Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from Georgetown University.
