Sawsan Salameh

Sawsan Salameh is an experienced professional with a strong background in program management, monitoring, evaluation, and public health. Currently serving as Programs Manager at Envision by WorldStrides since May 2022, Sawsan previously held various roles at United Palestinian Appeal, Inc., including MEAL and Compliance Manager, Operations Manager, and Office Manager. Sawsan's earlier experience includes roles as a Substitute Teacher at Fairfax County Public Schools, a member of the School Health Advisory Committee, and contributions to the Fairfax County Medical Reserve Corps. A former Research Associate at the Environmental Health Department of the American University of Beirut and the Chemistry Department, Sawsan has engaged in research and community outreach projects. Sawsan holds a Master's of Science in Health and Medical Policy from George Mason University, a post-graduate coursework in Public Health from the American University of Beirut, and a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry from the same institution.
