Jamie James Bal

Jamie James Bal is an experienced event operations professional with a diverse background in managing large-scale events. As the Founder of MoonDrop Events since January 2019, Jamie has demonstrated entrepreneurial skills in the event planning industry. Jamie also serves as Business Operations Manager for Envision Festival, coordinating multiple projects and facilitating communication among cross-functional teams since January 2018. As Director of Event Operations at Sunset Sound System since January 2014, Jamie has overseen staffing programs for extensive events and collaborated with various stakeholders on safety plans and performance evaluations. In addition, Jamie has accumulated significant freelance experience across numerous festivals, including roles such as Box Office Manager and Festival Operations, showcasing a comprehensive skill set in operations, artist relations, and team management. Jamie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from San Francisco State University and an Associate’s Degree in Psychology from City College of San Francisco.
