Tom Webster

Tom Webster is a Strategy Simulation Engineer at Envision Racing Formula E, responsible for trackside race strategy execution, long-term strategy simulation development, and competitor analysis since November 2024. Prior to this role, Tom served as an Energy Management Controls Engineer at Mahindra Racing, where energy management strategies using MATLAB and Simulink were developed, alongside supporting test events trackside. Earlier experience as a Systems Engineer at UK Atomic Energy Authority included leading Python tool development for model-based systems engineering and supervising placement students. Tom holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Motorsport Mechatronics from Cranfield University and an MPhys in Physics with Astrophysics from the University of Sussex.
