Derek Meeks

Derek Meeks has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Derek started their career at CHI Memorial in 2008 as an ER Nurse and Charge Nurse, where they worked until 2013. In 2014, they joined ApolloMD as a Nurse Practitioner and worked there until 2016. Derek then joined Envision Healthcare in 2016 and held various roles, including Nurse Practitioner and Lead Nurse Practitioner at Parkridge Medical Center. Since 2022, they have been serving as the Regional Lead Nurse Practitioner at HCA TriStar Chattanooga and continues their role as the Lead APP at Parkridge Medical Center.

Derek Meeks completed their education with a Master of Science degree in Nurse Practitioner from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse also from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 2010 to 2011. Derek first obtained an Associate of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Excelsior University from 2007 to 2008. Lastly, in 2004 to 2006, they pursued a field of study in EMT-Paramedic at Chattanooga State Community College.
