Roger Brackin

Roger Brackin is the Managing Director and chief consultant at 20-20 Geospatial Ltd since June 2018, specializing in spatial data infrastructure and geospatial technology consultancy on an international scale. With a long-standing career at Envitia since 1985, Roger has held various significant roles including Strategic Geospatial Advisor, Non-Executive Director, and Chief Technology Officer, overseeing technical strategy and direction in both the UK and US. Roger's expertise includes representation in the Open Geospatial Consortium and DGIWG, along with a strong focus on research and technology. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from the University of Nottingham, an MSc in Computer Science from the University of London, and a BSc in Electronics from the University of Kent.
