Kayvan Pishghadam has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Kayvan started their career as a Project and Account Lead at IIDADVISORY, where they prepared business plans and managed customer relations for a private power plant. Kayvan then moved on to Kayson Company, where they served as a Strategic Planning and Performance Management Lead, mapping the company's first corporate strategic plan and achieving financial objectives.
After that, they worked at MBA Consulting Alliance as a part-time Business Consultant before joining Ernst & Young as a Senior Consultant. At Ernst & Young, they assessed and designed supply chain improvement plans, performed contract evaluations, and participated in risk management and internal/vendor audit processes in the energy and aviation industries.
Kayvan then joined TransCanada as a Lead Assessor and Continual Improvement Specialist, where they worked on capital project management processes and facilitated the implementation of lessons learned throughout projects' lifecycles. Kayvan later joined Accenture as a Manager in Management Consulting, leading teams in developing and documenting supply chain business processes, establishing governance structures, and orchestrating business simulation workshops in the energy sector.
Kayvan continued their career at CBRE as a Director in the Strategic Transformation Office, advising the business on transition planning and execution, process improvement, and cost optimization initiatives. Kayvan also played a leading role in the business transformation program at CORIX Group of Companies, focusing on business process management and the integration of ERP systems.
Most recently, Kayvan served as the Chief Operating Officer at Envo Drive Systems Inc., where they steered the scale-up of the company, established infrastructure for organic growth, and directed the organization through a disruptive period caused by the emergence of a new e-mobility ecosystem and capital market in North America. Kayvan also held the position of Director of Business Transformation, where they compiled budgets, executed growth strategies, managed financials, and led performance reviews.
Throughout their career, Kayvan has focused on transformational initiatives, optimization, and efficiency improvement, with expertise in areas such as digital transformation, strategic planning, process improvement, and supply chain management.
Kayvan Pishghadam has a diverse education history. In 1993, they obtained a Diploma in Math & Physics from the National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents. Kayvan then went on to earn a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology from 1997 to 2002. In 2004, they pursued an MBA degree at the Graduate School of Management and Economy at Sharif University of Technology. Kayvan completed this degree in 2006. Later, from 2009 to 2011, Kayvan attended the University of Calgary and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance & Global Energy Management and Sustainable Development. Alongside their formal education, they also acquired several certifications including Contract Administration, Quality Management System, Contract and Procurement, and Project Management Fundamentals from the IACET institution, which were all obtained in 2012.
