Dr. Reinier Espinosa has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Dr. Reinier began their career as an Internal Medicine Physician at Hospital Hermanos Ameijeiras in 2009 and worked there until 2012. Dr. Reinier then joined Hospital Militar Especialidades De FF.AA N°1 as a Medical Doctor from September 2012 to August 2013. Following this, they worked as an Intensive Care Unit Physician at Hospital Inglés from January 2012 to September 2013.
In 2013, Dr. Espinosa became a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Miami Health System and held this role until July 2014. Dr. Reinier then joined LCC MEDICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE, LLC as a Clinical Research Coordinator and Quality Assurance Administrator from July 2014 to January 2015. Dr. Reinier later transitioned to the role of General Manager and Research Director at the same company from February 2015 to August 2022.
From December 2020 to August 2022, Dr. Espinosa worked as a Medical Advisor at Evolution Clinical Trials, Inc. Currently, they are employed as a Study Director at Envol Biomedical, starting in June 2022.
Dr. Reinier Espinosa obtained their Doctor in Medicine degree from the Institute of Basic and Clinical Sciences "Victoria de Giron" between 2003 and 2009. Recently, in 2022, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree with a focus on Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from the Jewish University System, University Central of Ashdod. Alongside their formal education, Dr. Espinosa has also obtained several certifications, including the Biomedical Responsible Conduct of Research, Humanities Responsible Conduct of Research, Physical Science Responsible Conduct of Research, Responsible Conduct of Research for Administrators, Responsible Conduct of Research for Engineers, Certified Professional IACUC Administrator (CPIA), IACUC Chair, IACUC Protocol Review, Protocol Development and Execution. These certifications were obtained through the CITI Program. Furthermore, Dr. Espinosa holds certifications in Acute Coronary Syndromes from Sanofi, CPR and First Aid from the State of Florida, Case Manager (Behavior) from the State of Florida, Clinical surgical emergencies, intensive care, and pain management with advances in medicine and nursing from the Ministerio de Salud - Ecuador, Clinical/Surgical Emergencies, Trauma, and Pain Management from the Ministerio de Salud - Ecuador, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) from the ACRP - Association of Clinical Research Professionals, IATA from the State of Florida, Intensive Care and Emergency from Hospital Hermanos Almeijeiras - Havana, Cuba, and Management of patients with Peripheral Arterial Disease from the Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
