Joyce Lee has extensive work experience in the energy and environmental sectors. Their most recent position was as Vice President of System Operations and Asset Management at Enwave Energy Corporation, a role they have held since June 2016. Prior to that, they served as Vice President of Business Research and Analysis from October 2015 to June 2016, and as Vice President of Operations from January 2013 to September 2015. Joyce also held the position of Manager of Plant Operations at Enwave from August 2004 to January 2013, and began their career at the company as an Assistant Project Manager from May 2002 to August 2004.

Before joining Enwave, Joyce worked at the Ontario Ministry of the Environment as a Certificate Review Engineer from May 2000 to August 2000.

Joyce Lee completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Environmental Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, which they attended from 1997 to 2002. Joyce then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Toronto from 2006 to 2007.
