Bo Chen

Co-Founder & CTO at ENWAY

Bo Chen began their career in 2006 as First Level Support for ADSL Swisscom at theBEEcompany AG. In 2008, they became an IT Officer at the University of Zurich. In 2009 and 2010, they held internships at UBS Investment Bank and McKinsey & Company, respectively. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Senior Consultant at Deloitte, where they were consistently ranked a top performer in peer groups. In 2017, they co-founded ENWAY, a robotics company focusing on autonomous sweeping, and served as Co-Founder and CTO. During their tenure, they raised 10M+ € in funding from investors and public funds in Germany, Switzerland, Singapore, and the USA, set up and operationalized a subsidiary in Singapore, iteratively developed products, and built up and led a multidisciplinary, distributed tech team of 20+ people. ENWAY was successfully exited to Bucher Industries, a global Swiss engineering conglomerate with over 13k employees, and Bo is now leading projects to bring ENWAY technology to Bucher Municipal sweeping vehicles.

Bo Chen received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Zurich in 2011 and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Zurich in 2012. In 2011, Bo Chen also attended Tsinghua University.
