Chris Lurix

Chris Lurix, PMP, MBA, is an accomplished IT Project Manager and Senior Solutions Engineer with extensive experience in leading data analysis and software customization across the energy sector. Currently employed at EOG Resources since August 2020, Chris collaborates with operations teams to implement software solutions that enhance accounting and operational efficiency. Previously, Chris held significant roles at Apache Corporation, GenOn Energy, bp, Reliant Energy, Baylor College of Medicine, SunGard, El Paso, KANA Software, and Oracle, contributing to major projects such as the development of data models, compliance applications, and energy trading systems. Chris holds a Post Graduate Program in Data Science and Business Analytics and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems from Texas McCombs School of Business, along with an MBA in Global Energy Management from the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business.
