Hung Nguyen

Hung Nguyen is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at EOG Resources since November 2011. In this role, Hung manages multiple real-time operation applications and mentors emerging leaders within the organization. Previous positions held include Manager, Technical Architect, Lead Developer, Senior Software Developer, and Professional Consultant, focusing on drilling and completion applications using various modern technologies. Prior to EOG Resources, Hung worked at the City of Houston as a System Analyst IV, and held software development roles at TAS, Encomia L.P., DIcentral, and ShinhanVina Bank. Hung holds a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Bach Khoa University.
